LOW VOLTAGE AND LIGHTING
Execution of lighting and low voltage power distribution systems are services that Modern Electric has provided multiple times to its clients. Lighting designs are fine tuned internally to ensure the required lighting is available as per international standards, and lighting fixture aesthetics is also an integral factor during product selection.
We also take great care with regards to power requirements for different room and building types, to ensure the applications in those spaces are properly catered for.
EXTRA LOW VOLTAGE AND LOW CURRENT SYSTEMS
The buildings of today require modern building systems that provide additional security, automation, entertainment and comfort.
At MEC we provide the passive and active components network as well as the systems and ensure their seamless integration. These systems include CCTV networks, access control, turnstiles, home automation, data networks, telephone systems, intrusion alarms, IPTV, Home Cinemas and Meeting Rooms.
HVAC
MEC’s HVAC team devotes much time throughout the project to ensure correct engineering, design and installation of the HVAC systems. From Split units to VRV units and exhaust systems to treated fresh air. We note every activity in every room and estimate the required loads on that basis.
In today’s smart buildings we integrate the HVAC system with the fire system with occupancy sensors and timers to ensure the most comfortable indoor environment while ensuring efficient energy consumption simultaneously
FIRE DETECTION, PROTECTION AND SUPPRESSION
We assure the client that the civil defense safety requirements will be met by our engineering, products and installations for the required fire protection system, fire alarm system, FM200 and similar systems for the protection of the residents of a building.
Integration between the fire system and other building systems is a key safety factor that we have executed in all the modern buildings we are working on today.
PLUMBING & PROCESS PIPING
MEC’s plumbing and water supply services and team, ensure top-end execution of all project types. We also provide the specialized plumbing services for certain building types, such as restaurants, laboratories, medical buildings, factories and so on, for the different types of waste and toxic chemicals that needs to be taken care off.
In addition, we provide an experienced pipe fitting team that covers the scope of gas piping and other industrial piping requirements.
MEDIUM VOLTAGE AND INFRASTRUCTURE
External works such as medium voltage cabling, fiber optic cabling, excavation, potable water lines, irrigation, street lighting, outdoor security systems and so on is another area that MEC is focusing on as a service to clients.
In addition, we supply and install generation equipment, packaged substations, transformers and switch gear to cater mainly for industrial projects, larger buildings and sites.
We are able to provide the required labor and expertise in this area to complete the project on time.

SOLAR ENERGY ENGINEERING
Modern Power and Modern Electric work together to design, supply and install solar energy plants to supply clean energy.
Small and medium solar power plants can be placed on building roof tops.
Building facades can have integrated solar panels in their façade.
Solar lighting can be used for the out door areas and parking lots. Shaded parking can have solar panels instead of regular shading.
